Soft seal gate valves for sewage

The watertightness through the spindle is obtained with four dynamic O-rings and a spindle dustguard in order to avoid impurities. Furthemore, seals are capable of being replaced with the valve under pressure and in the fully open position.
CASTING MATERIALS (BODY, BONNET, WEDGE, STEM CAPS): Spherical graphite cast iron GGG-50 (EN-GJS-500-7) according to DIN-EN 1563 <> BS 2789 Grade 500-7.
STEM: The valve stem is made to be able to withstand without permanent distortion all stresses, compressive, tensile and torsional, to which it could be subjected in normal service. Standard Material: AISI 420 (<> 420S29 in accordance with BS 970 Part 1, X20 Cr13-DIN 17440), polished and threads formed by cold rolling.
WEDGE NUT: The wedge nut is a replaceable part, with a screw thread to match the screw thread on the stem. Materials with great resistance to corrosion: Cooper alloy according to EN 12165 (CW718R) ; Copper alloy LG2/Rg5 according to BS 1400/DIN 1705 or CZ 132 (both with deszinfication resistant).
COATINGS: All pressure-containing cast iron components are coated to provide protection against corrosion. Moreover, all coatings (epoxy and rubber) have passed full test of effect on water quality and they conserve their properties during operation conditions. Electrostatically epoxy powder coating Blue RAL 5015 approved by WBS-WRc (UK) according to BS 6920, DVGWKTW (Germany) and NF (France), KTW (Netherland)...
BOLTING: according to DIN 912 in 8.8 steel with organic coating countersunk, and with seal protection. They can also be made of Stainless Steel AISI 302. Flanges dimensioned and drilled according to ISO 2531 or BS EN 1092-2.
Face to face dimension according to EN 558 (DIN 3202) Serie 14 (F4) and Serie15 (F5) or BS 5163. Full and straight bore in order to avoid turbulence, loss of head and VENTURI effect.
All the valves have foot suport. The valves are delivered with handwheel or square cap.
