Containers and tanks, available from ECCUA, are made of either fibre-glass plastic or high density polyethylene (HDPE). Both materials are resistant to environmental impacts - being leak-resistant, easy to transport and fit.
When choosing the tank it is important to know the volumes of water used in a building to estimate the effluent volumes. The capacity of a tank is based on the volume of effluent incurring and emptying frequency of the tank. Level sensor, available as an accessory, simplifies to determine the emptying requirement. Tanks with the capacity of 1,000 l and 2,500 l are good for collecting effluents of small saunas and summer houses. Tanks with the capacity of 5,000 – 20,000 litres can be used in summer and individual houses and can also meet the needs of smaller office buildings. Collection tanks with the capacity of 25,000 – 55,000 litres are used for large quantities of effluent or as storage facilities for fire water supply.
